Google Cloud Status
Google Cloud Status breaks its incident view by product, which makes it useful in the common case where only one GCP service is affected. During a Cloud Run incident, the BigQuery row is green; the signal is localized before an engineer has to parse an incident description to determine scope.
The gap is the prose. Initial entries tend to stay at “we are investigating an issue” for longer than the resolution timeline warrants, and detailed post-incident write-ups appear selectively rather than as standard practice. The per-product grid is the strongest part of the design; the incident narrative is the weakest.
